This pair. The driver of this Jeep Wrangler tried to run after hitting another motorist. Unfortunately, he was armed merely with a top-heavy slow coach, while the gentleman whom he wronged decided to pursue him in a 450 horsepower Mercedes. I'm guessing the Jeep did not end up evading his pursuer, and I hope neither of them killed someone else in the process.

Just another day in NYC.

It always pisses me off in TV shows when the bad guy in a Ferrari can't get away from the cops in a big fat SUV, or our hero on a superbike struggles to catch up with the fleeing villains in their product-placement-car-of-the-week

I witnessed 3 girls in a Cavalier hit a car in an intersection and keep going. I gave chase in my '03 wrx wagon and it took a few blocks to catch up and get them to stop. Closing speed isn't as great as you would assume though when someone is motivated to get away. She was scared (no insurance etc. etc.) but I told them to go back otherwise I'd call in her plate and she'd be in for Hit Skip. She went back and I waited for the cops to show up.

The sad thing is, I would attempt to do the same until I remembered why I was dissuaded from purchasing an '03: Not-so-great 5-speed.... If I had the money, I would chase after the girls and do something about the Synchros in 5th.

Screw it, I'm buying a bike.
